Survivors of the Karachi plane crash have reached Lahore on a PIA flight

Zafar Masood, one of the two passengers who survived the PIA plane crash in May 2020, flew to Lahore on a PIA flight on Saturday.

It was Masood's first flight since the plane crash in Karachi, which killed more than 90 people. He was welcomed at Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore by the CEO of PIA.

In a tweet on Friday, Masood said, "PIA, in anticipation of tomorrow's flight for the first time since my plane crash for the first time with our national assets." "We must support it [PIA] and work towards its revival and improvement."

The survivor said it was necessary for him to "overcome the fear of travel." He said that no one can live with such fears.

The PIA Airbus A320 crashed into a residential area of Karachi en route to Lahore after trying to land at Jinnah International Airport. The investigation report described the crash as a "human error" by the pilot and air traffic control.
